A Naming Ceremony is one way in which families can celebrate and welcome a new child.

Parents usually invite family and friends to share in the occasion. The ceremony is an opportunity to announce the names which have been chosen for the child, but there is much more to the occasion.

It is a way by which you, as a parent, can make public promises to your child and a pledge that you will be as good a parent as possible. Close family members or friends may play a part in the ceremony.

Pastures Lodge is available to conduct ceremonies from 1pm to 5pm on a Saturday, and from 10am to 5pm on a Sunday. Please contact Julie Sidebotham or Kevin Gaze, on 01709 579599 for further details.
